Our annual call to action campaign encouraging students to apply for their 2026 student finance has started - and there are lots of things you can do to help.

From 1 January 2025, the first-year Fees Free scheme is being replaced by a final-year scheme.

From 1 January 2025, Accommodation Benefit rates for Waitomo, Westland, Waimate, and Southland will increase to $60 a week. This process is known as the Annual General Adjustment.
