Notifying StudyLink of a withdrawal

The Tertiary Education Commission has introduced a new funding condition applying to programmes commencing on or after 1 January 2017 and revised the definition of withdrawal.

The reporting of a student withdrawal to Studylink must now be reported within 5 working days of each withdrawal and now includes reporting of partial withdrawals as well.  This is to enable Student Loans and Student Allowances to be cancelled as soon as possible.  

We’re currently in the process of consulting with providers about the appropriate VoS response to correctly notify us of a withdrawal (both complete and partial withdrawals) in specific circumstances and will be releasing further information in due course.
